Join Our Team

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist - to be hired  

The Peer Support Specialist will provide peer recovery support based on an established treatment plan, conduct routine monitoring of client experience through standardized and proprietary assessments and complete timely and accurate documentation of client encounters and data. Additionally, the peer specialist may facilitate recovery, educational and enrichment groups. Peer will complete assessments for each client including recovery capital scale, BARC-10 and GPRA. Will report and work closely with the executive director to support clients. 

 20-30/week, Part-time  

Qualifications and Experience:  High School Diploma or equivalent, Must be certified by Florida Certification Board within 1 year of hire. Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Creole) Minimum 2 years in active recovery from substance use disorder Experience with recovery capital scale, BARC-10 and GPRA. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing is a requirement 

Job Type: Part-time  Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
